Lancer®series
stud drivers are used to drive studs to a predetermined projection
height. The fully automatic Lancer®
cuts
cycle time by being pushed, not threaded onto the stud. When the
cycle is complete the lancer®
is simply pulled away
from the stud eliminating the added expenses associated with reversible
spindles.
Lancers®
can also be used in conjunction with torque control spindles for
applications that specify a torque requirement, not a projection height.
The
lancer®is the right
choice for studs up to 7/16" (10MM) that are to be driven to
projection height.
SENTINEL®series stud
drivers are used to drive studs to a pre-set torque limit. Like
LANCERS®
the
sentinel®
is fully automatic and save cycle time by being pushed, not threaded onto
the stud.
Sentinel®
stud drivers use a durable, highly reliable rolling element clutch mechanism
which will last for many thousands of cycles.
Choose the
Sentinel®for studs up
to 7/16" (10MM) that are to be driven to torques up to 35 foot pounds
(47NM).
The
100series
automatic®
stud drivers have been on the market for well over 50 years. This
time proven design offers the same great performance characteristics of
the lancer but in a larger more robust package for applications that require
higher installation torque or larger stud sizes. The
100
series automatic®stud drivers
have driven millions of studs to projection height in factories around the
world.
When driving studs of
3/8" (10MM) in diameter to projection height the
100
Series Automatic®
is the tool to choose.
Built with the
same components as the 100
series Automatic®
stud drivers, the
CD
version also incorporates a durable clutch mechanism for applications
that require studs to be driven to a torque not projection height
specification.
The
100
Series CD®
is the correct choice for studs above 3/8" (10MM) that are to be
drive up to 225 foot pounds of torque (305NM)
